* Major Responsibilities of the Senior Advisory Board:
- Advising on journal policy and scope.
- Identifying new topics for commissions, special editions and advising on direction for the journal—giving feedback on past issues and making suggestions for both subject matter and potential authors.
- Identify and suggest key topics to include in the journal and invite key authors on these topics to submit an article.
- Provide content by writing occasional editorials and other short articles.
- Peer review (ocasionally) of submitted manuscripts; also help to identify peer reviewers and provide second opinions on papers (i.e. where there is a conflict between reviewers).

** Major Responsibilities of the Editorial Board:
- Review submitted manuscripts.
- Approaching potential contributors.
- Endorse the journal to authors, readers and subscribers and encourage colleagues to submit their best work.
- Assist the editors in decision making over issues such as plagiarism claims and submissions where reviewers can’t agree on a decision.
- Review, edit, and approve the technical content of the journal.
- Identify key contributed research, workshops, or panel topics from meetings/conferences suitable for publication in JTHSM and invite presenters to submit an article for consideration.
